Hampshire Constabulary is looking for ethical, effective and accredited Detective Inspectors to join our Investigation teams. We are a large force which has maintained a police family culture. We really value our staff and the professional development of our detectives within the PIP accreditation. We have a wide variety of opportunities within reactive and proactive crime teams, including specialism with public protection, major and serious organised crime. In addition we regularly have promotion opportunities for those wanting to be the leaders of the future.

Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are excellent places to live and work. There is good access to London, the South Coast and the New Forest. Our main operating bases are Basingstoke, Southampton and Portsmouth.  In order to apply you must be PIP 2 qualified and substantive in the rank of Inspector. Successful applicants must be able to join a bespoke 3 week induction course.
