Offender Management Co-ordinator - HC2008
We are currently recruiting for an Offender Management Co-ordinator based at Newport, in this role you will provide support to the Public Protection Department (PPD) Team on the Isle of Wight
Key tasks will include:
Provide administrative support to the PPD by inputting and editing data on Violent and Sexual Offenders Register System (VISOR) , Records Management System (RMS) and other databases, to include researching and inputting risk assessments using Risk Matrix 2000 and adding warnings and flags, merging and linking records within RMS, prepare and maintain nominal case files for PPD meetings obtaining data from several sources, checking accuracy and providing an accurate summary, manage the MAPPA nominal case files, deal with requests for information sharing with partner agencies and input and extract data from Force and National intelligence systems including RMS, VISOR, Police National Computer (PNC) and Police National Database (PND) (if required).
As well as, provide general administrative support to the Public Protection Department eg managing diaries, taking messages, answering phone calls, taking minutes of meetings and dealing with enquiries where possible, manage the shared Team email mailbox, dealing with enquiries where possible, arrange Level 2 and 3 Police Led Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangement (MAPPA) meetings inviting all relevant agencies and to attend these meetings to take accurate minutes that you will then disseminate in accordance with the Chair’s direction, maintain, update and edit the Offender Team MAPPA Nominal Database enabling you to provide information on the necessity for home visits, interim & level 1 reviews and identify breaches in Registered Sex Offender (RSO) registration compliance and liaise with other Areas/Forces/Agencies regarding the movements of PPD nominals.
Occasional work outside of normal office hours may be required.
Access to reliable transport as travel across the island, the mainland (inc. the Central OM Hub) and occasionally to other force areas will be required.
