Transformation Consultant Opportunities HCC2822844

Hampshire County Council
£38,877- £60,057 per annum, dependent on role
Elizabeth II Court, Winchester

Seeking experienced and talented management consultants, who want to play an important part in leading and supporting user-centred service transformation and sustainable change, within a prestigious public sector organisation.

To meet the continuing financial challenges we face over the next couple years and beyond, Hampshire County Council want to recruit highly skilled, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our internal Transformation Practice - the Council’s management consultancy team.  Much of the change we are expecting to deliver in the future will be underpinned by digital technologies, enabling us to significantly improve both customer experience and operational productivity. We are looking for individuals that can lead and support service design and improvement programmes and projects across all departments, often in collaboration with partner organisations.

You will have previous experience as a management consultant and/or programme/project management within a transformational environment.  Experience of working in local government or the wider public sector service economy would be desirable but not essential, as private sector experience will enable us to look at our challenges from another perspective. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of designing and leading measurable improvements to service quality and operational efficiency in a complex, often people-centred service environment. Experience of service design and improvement underpinned by digital technologies will be both useful and desirable, but not essential.

You will be based in Winchester, a beautiful and historic city on the edge of the South Downs National Park, with good travel links to London.

Hampshire County Council is committed to supporting the Armed Forces Community under the Community Covenant, and actively supports Reservist employees.

Please state your preference of role in your application.

Our Organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults. We expect all employees, workers and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.
