An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced transport professional to join the Oxford locality team

Oxfordshire is set to grow rapidly over the next 15 years and beyond, giving rise to considerable transport challenges and opportunities, particularly in Oxford which has a track record as an exemplar for sustainable transport.

You will work as part of a team to:

  • Develop transport strategies and schemes that help deliver the council's long term transport vision for the city
  • Shape planning policies and provide strategic input into planning applications
  • Secure funding for infrastructure

You will have opportunities to broaden your experience and develop your skills.
