Digital Communications Officer OPCC2654216
At the Police and Crime Commissioner’s office, we are looking to move from reaching hundreds of people through our communications and engagement work, to reaching hundreds of thousands of people in our communities across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. One of the ways we can do this is through innovative, creative and sophisticated digital communications, and we are looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to join our Communications and Engagement team to help to widen our reach and engagement.
You would be responsible for shaping our new Digital Communications Strategy and building the profile of the Commissioner and his work across the area through a range of accessible channels and appealing and wide reaching campaigns. You will have a sound technical knowledge and extensive experience to create ideas and respond to digital communication and engagement in the most appropriate way. You will do all of this by working with colleagues in the wider communications and engagement team, ensuring digital communication enhances and integrates with strategic work.
Having led and delivered a range of digital communication including website design and development, social media communication and engagement and internal digital channels, you will be creative, flexible and using the most up to date techniques to engage a range of audiences, and will be able to demonstrate the evidence and analytics of your digital achievements.
