Senior Transformation Consultant HCC2620749
We are seeking experienced and talented management consultants to play an important part in leading and supporting user-centred service transformation and sustainable change, within our prestigious public sector organisation.
To meet the continuing financial challenges we face over the next couple years and beyond, Hampshire County Council would like to recruit highly skilled and self-motivated individuals to join our internal Transformation Practice - the Council’s management consultancy team. Much of the change we are expecting to deliver in the future will be underpinned by digital technologies, enabling us to significantly improve both customer experience and operational productivity. We are looking for individuals who can lead and support service design and improvement programmes and projects across all departments, often in collaboration with our partner organisations.
You will have significant experience as a management consultant and/or programme/project management within a transformational environment. Confident and competent in using data and analytics, you will be able to present visually compelling evidence of your findings to support decision making. Your excellent verbal and communication skills will support your professional and credible approach working with senior management teams. With a proven track record of designing and leading measurable improvements to service quality and operational efficiency in a complex, often people-centred service environment, your experience of service design and improvement, underpinned by digital technologies will be both useful and desirable, but not essential.
Experience of working in local government or the wider public sector service economy would be desirable but not essential, as private sector experience will enable us to look at our challenges from another perspective.
You will be based in Winchester, a beautiful and historic city on the edge of the South Downs National Park, with good travel links to London.
Hampshire County Council is committed to supporting the Armed Forces Community under the Community Covenant, and actively supports Reservist employees.
These vacancies are part of a continuous recruitment campaign. Applications will be reviewed soon after their submission and vacancies may therefore be filled before the final closing date. Potential applicants are therefore encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
