Nurses should never have to choose between concentrating on their own development or the person-centred care they provide. And at Hampshire, they never will.
Our nurses take responsibility for the ‘whole patient experience’ so, as well as being more heavily involved in clinical diagnosis and treatment, they get to build more meaningful relationships with the residents in their care. For our part, we give them all the support they need, outstanding training opportunities and long-term career prospects. And when you factor in our excellent range of local authority benefits, it makes for a nursing career that’s more rewarding all-round.
You’ll need to be an RGN or RMN with experience that includes the care of older people. A talented nurse with energy and enthusiasm who can lead by example. Most importantly, you must be committed to involving residents and their families in every aspect of planning and evaluating their care.
