ACRO Criminal Records Office is a national police unit, hosted within Hampshire Constabulary, which keeps communities safe in the UK and across the world by providing a range of criminal record services. As a centre of excellence, we also deliver projects and services on behalf of the UK government, the UK police service and the European Commission.
As the ACRO International Project Manager you will be responsible for, managing the delivery of overseas criminal records and fingerprint business change projects directed by the Home Office and other Government departments, which will include the project delivery, producing an outcome that is of the required standard and quality within specified time and cost constraints and capable of achieving the benefits for the relevant country and the UK.
What you’ll need to succeed:
The successful applicant will have 3 years project management experience and be confident in giving presentations to a wide range of audiences and negotiating and briefing senior stakeholders.
Significant experience working in criminal justice is required, and a good understanding of the management of criminal records.

QCF Level 6 or work experience deemed to have brought the post-holder to a comparable level.
Hold a PRINCE2 certificate (or equivalent recognised project management qualification)
Masters degree or equivalent qualification
Membership of appropriate professional body
Significant experience of working in criminal justice and can demonstrate a good understanding of the management of criminal records.
Experience in giving presentations to a wide range of audiences.
Experience with negotiating and briefing senior stakeholders
A minimum of 3 years project management experience.
Experience of managing & implementing change within a medium or large size organisation.
