Apprentice Customer Service Advisor
18 month fixed term contract (possible progression to permanent position at the end of the contract)
Customer Service we're proud of....that's what we aim to deliver.
What we need to deliver it - enthusiastic, customer focused team player. Is it you?
Centrally based at our main offices in Winchester, you will be working in a busy customer service centre dealing with enquiries for all the Council’s main services. You will be the first point of contact for our customers (on the phone, face to face or online).
Customers often have problems they want us to address. You’ll be the kind of person who listens, and who wants to help - friendly and well presented, but also emotionally resilient.
As an apprentice you’ll get lots of training, and if you’ve already got experience of working within a customer focused environment that’s a bonus. GCSE Maths and English would be nice, but what we really need to see is a genuine desire to deliver an excellent service, and great communication skills. The job requires some basic IT skills (Outlook, Excel, database skills), and we will be assessing your aptitude for this at interview.
Dress code is smart casual.
For an informal discussion, please contact Aida Kinghorn on 01962 848 232.
Closing Date – Monday 2nd July 2018
Interview Date – 11th and 12th July 2018
