Data Coordinator - HC2088
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and innovative team, exploring the potential for data visualisation and information use across the organisation.
You will provide a critical role, ensuring the Force’s information is accessible for internal and external customers whilst enabling the Force to identify threat, risk and harm through the of data. You will be key to ensuring that statutory reporting obligations are achieved through the application of effective information and data provision processes.
Key tasks will include:
Complete and validate statutory and non-statutory data requirements, from outside the force e.g. Home Office officials, HMICFRS, NPCC, partners and other forces and internal customers including district commanders and department heads, publish regular/standard data and Business Intelligence products to support Force functions including FPG and Area Performance Meetings, facilitate the provision of self-serve data requests, manage electronic data collation and retrieval systems, including but not limited to RMS, Altaris, business objects and identify appropriate and relevant datasets for the customer’s needs.
As well as monitor access and permissions for datasets and tools provided by the Data Management team, support the maintenance and improvement of data accuracy as part of a broader user testing process lead by the Data Developer and support the development of new data visualisation products ensuring the quality and integrity of data products and gatekeeping the requirements and requests being received. This is likely to include prioritisation with the Data Developer
